Per-month cost with the yearly total underneath. incident.io's Pro plan and on-call add-ons are listed at one rate; we apply it to both billing modes. Opsgenie columns apply Atlassian's marginal per-user rates band by band (users 1–25 at the first rate, 26–50 at the second, and so on) and are available to existing customers only.
How each price is calculated
- OpsPing (pricing): Free $0 for up to 5 responders (1 team, 1 schedule, single-level escalation, 3 integrations, unlimited push). Team $8 per responder per month for up to 50 paid responders; Business $15 per responder per month. Stakeholder seats are free. Team includes $5 and Business $25 of monthly voice credit with a hard cap. The calculator switches to Business above 50 responders.
- PagerDuty (pricing page ↗): Free covers 5 users; Professional is $21 per user per month billed annually or $25 monthly, with AIOps, PagerDuty Advance, Runbook Automation, Status Pages and Live Call Routing purchased separately. PD Reliability Platform plans are annual platform fees: Starter $2,800 (10 seats), Essential $12,000 (20 seats), Plus $48,000 (50 seats), Ultimate custom; seats include stakeholders, and extra capacity comes from credit packs.
- Opsgenie (Atlassian licensing page ↗): listed per-user monthly rates for 1–25 users are Essentials $9.45 annual / $11.55 monthly, Standard $19.95 / $24.15, Enterprise $31.90 / $38.50, with lower marginal rates in larger bands. Atlassian stopped selling Opsgenie on June 4, 2025 and ends support on April 5, 2027, when access is shut off and unmigrated data is deleted; see the Opsgenie shutdown timeline.
- incident.io (pricing page ↗): Basic is free with single-team on-call; Team is $15 per user per month annually or $19 monthly, plus $10 per user per month for on-call; Pro is $25 plus $20 for on-call; On-call only is $20 per user per month; Enterprise is custom.
- Better Stack (pricing page ↗): a responder license is $29 per month billed yearly or $34 monthly; telemetry-only team members are free. Slack and Teams channel or thread workflows are $9 per responder per month extra, and call routing is $250 per number per month ($208 yearly).
Not included anywhere: taxes, negotiated discounts, usage-based charges (telemetry volume, events, AI actions, phone minutes beyond allowances) and optional add-ons. The comparison is per responder seat, not feature-for-feature; each tool includes different things at each tier.
