The service
Meeting Transcription Bot (the "app") is a Zoom app operated by LTFI Tech, LLC that joins Zoom meetings at a participant's request, captures audio with the host's permission, and produces a transcript. By authorizing or inviting the app, you agree to these terms.
Acceptable use
- Invite the app only to meetings where you are authorized to do so.
- Do not use the app to record any meeting without the permission of the meeting host and any legally required consent of participants.
- Do not use the app to violate Zoom's Terms of Service or applicable law.
Recording consent is your responsibility
Recording laws vary by jurisdiction, and some require all-party consent. The app identifies itself as "Transcription Bot" and requests in-meeting recording permission from the host, but the participant who invites the app is solely responsible for satisfying applicable consent requirements.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of transcripts. Automated transcription may contain errors; verify anything that matters.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LTFI Tech, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including missed, incomplete, or inaccurate transcripts.
Termination
You may revoke the app's authorization at any time from your Zoom account's app management page, which ends the app's ability to join meetings on your behalf. We may suspend the app for abuse or legal requirement.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
